RCN truTV DIGITAL FINGERPRINTING FOR KIDS
SATURDAY, AUG. 15, 11 A.M.-3 P.M.
The RCN truTV Digital Fingerprinting for Kids event is a child safety program that offers free digital fingerprinting for kids around the country. Its mission is to help prevent crimes against children by providing parents and guardians with tools such as digital fingerprints and safety tips.

Thousands of children have been fingerprinted since the program’s initiation in 2002. Each child receives an 8x10” print with photo, fingerprints, and spaces for personal information such as height, weight, and hair color.

The first 300 kids attending Saturday’s event also will receive a free DNA kit, safety whistle, and magnet. Information and fingerprints are strictly for the privacy of the families, and no information is stored or held.

THE MUSICAL BODY
SATURDAY, AUG. 22, 12-3 P.M.
Is it really possible to break a glass with a human voice? Are classically-trained vocalists Mike and Barbara Bassano and Laura Doto up to the task? During interactive demonstrations at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m., these signers will illustrate how the body produces sound and take the glass challenge. Guests also can try turning their own voices into musical instruments with help from the professionals.

BODY BONUS: FEETS OF FURY BY LEADING EDGE MARTIAL ARTS
SATURDAY, SEPT. 5, 12-3 P.M.
Black Belt and Junior Black Belt martial artists for Leading Edge Martial Arts Allentown will demonstrate joint-locking and joint-manipulating techniques as well as performing board breaks with their feet. Their interactive programs at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. will let guests try basic martial arts moves. Guests will discover how size and strength are not as important as leverage understanding the body’s weaknesses.
