Candy "glass," ear wax, and a rock-solid history of life on Earth will highlight the Da Vinci Science Center's fall series of Seniors Monday Science Workshops.
The popular workshops
for adults ages 62 and up are presented with a special $4.50 admission price
from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and chances to win gift certificates from Lehigh Valley
businesses. Each fall workshop will be presented in expanded 75-minute sessions
from 12:15-1:30 p.m. and 1:45-3 p.m.
Adults interested in participating in Seniors Monday workshops are encouraged
to provide an RSVP to 484.664.1002, Ext. 112, as seating space is limited
for each session.

Glass Acts
Uunique demonstration of the properties of glass, including the creation of
candy "glass" performed by Dr. Bill Heffner from Lehigh University.
Monday, Nov. 8
Sound and Fury
A fascinating exploration of the human ear, unusual ear problems that occur,
and hearing loss issues with Allentown-based audiologist Martin Sheetz.
Monday, Dec. 6
Candy Chemistry
Colorful experiments by Just Born scientists, featuring Marshmallow Peeps
and other sweet treats.
